Happy New Year Everybody! And Please Send More Money
Thank You for a Tremendous Start to Our Campaign
Dear Friends,??I hope all of you are enjoying a happy holiday season with your families. From the Torrico family to every one of our friends, I want to wish you a joyous and safe New Year.??
I can tell you this has been a year to remember for us. As I launched my campaign for Attorney General, I was so grateful to have the support of my friends and family – early confidence that helped propel our campaign to the top ranks in the Democratic primary this coming June.?As the year progressed, the early support translated into even more campaign momentum.??
First, we won the crucial support of the state’s largest law enforcement organization, the Peace Officers Research Association of California, representing more than 60,000 rank and file law enforcement personnel.??
Then, just a few weeks ago, we earned the support of the California Professional Firefighters, representing more than 30,0000 first responders.??
Now, the first labor unions to endorse are joining our campaign, with the state’s powerful Operating Engineers Union Local 3 announcing their support this week.? ?
You have helped us grow. Now, as the New Year approaches, I hope you will help us grow.
Most of you know there is a crucial December 31 reporting deadline for our fundraising. A strong showing will be just one more sign of momentum and even more evidence that Californians want their next Attorney General to work in partnership with rank and file public safety officers to make our state safer.
I hope you will stand with us in the days ahead as we build the kind of campaign that will carry us to victory in June and November.
The most generous contribution you can afford will be particularly helpful before the midnight deadline on December 31.?
Happy New Year – and thank you in advance for all of your help.
Sincerely,? ??
?Alberto Torrico? Candidate for Attorney General
