Doesn’t Sound Desperate But Clearly Eager for Contributions
Over just the past few weeks, we’ve all been reminded how important it is to have Barbara Boxer in the Senate.
She introduced and passed an amendment to stop Wall Street bailouts.
She chaired a crucial hearing into the tragic Gulf of Mexico oil spill.
She’s holding the big banks and oil companies accountable, standing up and speaking out for all of us.
Now Barbara needs us to stand up for her.
This Wednesday, May 19, marks the next critical FEC fundraising reporting deadline of Barbara Boxer’s campaign — and it’s up to you and me to make sure she has the resources she needs to win.
Please contribute $5 today — and help us before the May 19 deadline!
By May 19, there will be only three weeks left before the June 8 primary election — so it’s critical for Barbara to show her strength against her potential opponents heading toward Election Day.
Each time we’ve neared one of these deadlines, we’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal for our online community.
And every time, Barbara’s grassroots supporters have really come through.
So over the next week, we’ve set a $100,000 grassroots fundraising goal — to help us send a powerful signal about the strength of Barbara’s grassroots support.
But we need your help to reach it.
Can we count on you to help us reach this critical goal?
Please contribute $5 today — and help us reach our $100,000 grassroots fundraising goal before the May 19 deadline!
With Tom Campbell, Carly Fiorina, and Chuck DeVore all charging hard as the primary election nears, we can’t let up for a second.
We have to be ready for whichever of Barbara’s Republican opponents wins on June 8. On June 9, the general election campaign begins — and we need to be ready for the onslaught of attacks.
And that means reaching our $100,000 grassroots goal on May 19 — the last fundraising deadline before the primary.
Please contribute $5 now — and show the press, pundits, and all of Barbara’s opponents the strength of her grassroots support.
Thank you so much.
Sincerely,
Amalia Klein
Finance Director, Boxer for Senate
P.S. The May 19 deadline is just six days away. So please contribute now — whatever you can afford — and move us closer to our ambitious $100,000 fundraising goal.

Let me see $5 for a 2 pump extra large vanilla latte or $5 to Boxer, at least with the latte I get something including change.
