Political Sightings at Sacramento’s March 23 Lady Gaga Show
Despite a population of more than 400,000, Sacramento still seems like a small town.
Consider the sold-out show at Power Balance Pavillion, formerly Arco Arena.
Among the political denizens sighted were several lobbyists, none in short skirts or high heels or otherwise costumed in outfits mimnicking Lady Gaga, as anumber of audience members were.
Waiting in line for a beverage in the foyer was Sen. Ron Calderon, a Montebello Democrat.
Carrying a beverage back into the arena was former Sen. Dean Florez, a Fresno Democrat.
Making the political most of the evening, Assemblywoman Fiona Ma, a San Francisco Democrat, invited donors to a $1,500-a-head fundraiser at the show with proceeds going to a 2014 race for the state Senate.
