Zenovich died September 25. He was 91.

Rick’s comments say it all–George was the epitome of what was the finest and functional in California’s legislature….and a wonderful friend and family man.

Thanks for your post, Greg. Too often, a life as exceptional as that that was George Zenovich goes unnoticed by too many as we dwell on so many of so much less real consequence. This man was so accomplished, so smart, so talented – and all the while a true Gentleman (with a capital “G”!)!

Zenovich was an exceptional Assemblymember, Senator, Judge, and mentor for may who followed him into public service. He will be missed.
